OSHA training in Chicago

Chicago is one of the busiest construction and industrial markets in the country, and most serious projects here expect workers to show up with an OSHA card. From high-rise and mixed-use work downtown to hospital, university, transit, and airport projects, general contractors and owners routinely require OSHA 10 for every worker and OSHA 30 for supervisors. Zahid brings the full course to your Chicago job site, shop, or office so your crew doesn't lose days traveling to a classroom.

What Chicago employers should know

Private employers in Chicago are covered by federal OSHA, while City of Chicago and other public employees are covered by Illinois OSHA. Illinois has no blanket state law requiring OSHA 10 cards, but in Chicago the requirement almost always arrives through the contract: owners, general contractors, unions, and public agencies write OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 into bid documents and site rules. If you are bidding on larger Chicago work, get your crew carded before mobilization.

Plan ahead: a legitimate OSHA 10 takes at least two days and OSHA 30 at least four, because OSHA limits Outreach training to 7.5 hours per day. Any "one-day OSHA 10" offer is a red flag. See how to spot a fake card.
